“I am shopping with mom today and I plan on being a BIG help!”

Follow The Right Now! Kid on his adventure to The Big Store! He wants to help mom, he wants to help Big Store workers, he wants to help strangers! He wants to help EVERYONE!

As he makes his way through the store, he encounters people of all ages with all sorts of needs! His impulse to help is hard to manage, especially when so many people need his support! He loves to lend a hand and share his helpful- ness with everyone he meets!

But not everyone wants his help. Which is confusing. In fact, an exhausted mom in the diaper aisle scolds his mama and a tomato- faced man even yells at him!

This feels confusing.
Even hurtful.
So how does a Right Now! Kid lend a helping hand when people don’t want him around?
How can he talk to people when they’re so angry at his presence? Together, we’ll learn about what it means to be a little helper in a big world. A world that …. isn't always so kind.

“The Right Now! Kid: I Can Help” shows us how a simple shopping trip can turn into one big think. And maybe even teach us all a bit about boundaries, kindness, and resilience along the way.

In her decades of work as a social worker, writer, coach, and mentor she has returned time again to writing as the most profound modality of healing. Through her children’s books, she hopes to connect families, build trust through understanding the neurodivergent language of sensory sensitivities, and emphasizes the importance of compassion in the home.
But perhaps most importantly, she is on a mission to elevate, empower, and enliven neurodivergent voices in all of writings.

She has been writing for over 10 years with articles featured both locally (South Jersey Moms Magazine)
and international magazines (Rebel Society)
and has published multiple children’s books on Amazon. Kore Books was also recently named as Substack’s top 100 rising parents to follow!

Robin and Michael have worked together on the Right Now! Kid book series since 2020.
They are excited to share more of their work with you in the years to come.
